Women’s tennis team opens season against N.lj ByAl Lazarus Staff writer The Texas A&M Women’s Tennis Team plays its first match of the season today against the University of North Texas. The match begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Omar Smith Tennis Center. The women’s team easily handled UNT last year, winning 9-0. Despite this fact, sophomore Lisa Dingwall said she will be nervous heading into the match. “I’m always nervous that first match of the season, but I think the nervousness makes me want to go out there and play my hardest," Dingwall said. Coach Bobby Kleinecke said the first match of the season is always important. “We are always looking to come out with a lot of momentum, because it’s important for us to come out strong and establish ourselves," Kleinecke said.
