The Texas A&M Volleyball
Team heads into the heart of the
second half of Big 12 play this
weekend as the Texas Tech Red
Raiders and the Baylor Bears
come into College Station for a
pair of big matches.
The unranked Red Raiders will
visit G. Rollie White tonight for the
first time this season after losing to
the Aggies in four games in
Lubbock earlier this year. The Red
Raiders have posted a 19-6 record
so far this season with a 6-5 confer
ence record and seem poised to
make a run at the NCAA tourna
ment with a strong finish.
“They are a very driven and
mentally tough team,” Coach
Laurie Corbelli said.
The Bears, also unranked, visit
Aggieland Saturday night. The
Aggies will be looking to avoid the
pitfall that hurt them last year. With
just six games left in conference
play and a No. 13 ranking, the
Aggies lost a match to the Bears in
four games, which hurt their NCAA
