Campus Former cadets to be honored Saturday Texas A&M will recognize the lifetime achievements of four for mer cadets Saturday as they are inducted into the Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor. The new inductees are H.R. “Bum” Bright, Class of ’43, and Arthur P Wiley Jr., Class of ’46, both of Dallas; Weldon D. Kruger, Class of ’53, of Bryan; and Gerald D. Griffin, Class of ’56, of Hunt. The Corps Hall of Honor pays trib ute to former members of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets who exemplify Aggie spirit. The induction ceremony will be at 9 a.m. at the Sam Houston Sanders Corps Center. The ceremony is open to the public and admission is free. Categories to be judged will in clude the best- and worst-tasting wings and the hottest wings. The losing team will have to wear the opposing campus organization’s T-shirts on campus Monday. He said a policeman who serves as a student resource officer for the district used the spray to quell the disturbance after he was knocked to the floor.
