The Macmanus children came from around Texas and even Alaska to honor their parents. “This was a once in a life time event,” Paul Macmanus said. “So of course we were all going to be there.” He said his parents have in spired him to succeed, always offering unconditional support. “I was a little bit different from all my older brothers,” he said. “They all played football, but I played basketball in stead. He (his father) never said anything or questioned my decisions. He came to all of my games and was the loudest voice in the stands. “He was like that for all of us kids ...” As the 1996-97 Parents of the Year, the Macmanuses will represent A&M at events both on and off campus throughout the next year. “We’re just waiting anxious ly to find out what we’re sup posed to do,” Jerry Macmanus said. “We’re looking forward to it. Even though it is a long dri ve, we can’t think of a better way to spend our time.” ched me to :e to repre- 3 students, i we love it them, a n(l ve themci- ire just try- r and pro- e said. ;We Lgs too. ers is aj un f dism and tw er arts map' I emluki® ( WIN A FREE LIVE CONCERT! ) What do you think you know about Playboy?
