Travel U.B. Ski's 8th Annual The Army Reserve Alternate Training Program is a smart way to pay for college. First, if you qualify, the Mont gomery GI Bill can provide you with up to $6,920 for current college ex penses or approved vo/tech training. Second, if you have—or obtain—a qualified student loan not in default, you may get it paid off at the rate of 15% per year or $500, whichever is greater, up to a maximum of $10,000. Selected military skills can double that maximum. Third, you can earn part-time money in college, and here’s how it works: One summer you take Basic Training, and the next summer you receive skill training at an Army school. You’ll earn over $1,500 for Basic and even more for skill training. Then you’ll attend monthly meetings at an Army Reserve unit near your college, usually one weekend a month plus two weeks a year. You’ll be paid over $105 a weekend to start. It’s worth thinking about. Give us a call: COLLEGE SKI 1-800-SKI-WILD 1(800)754-9458 Sound Power Professional DJ Service. Parties/ Mix ers/ Weddings. A&M takes bre; from SWC play □ The team is coming off a 3-1 loss to SWC ri val Southern Methodist. By Tom Day The Battalion The Texas A&M Women’s Soc cer team is not used to losing. On Wednesday, however, that’s what the Aggies did, dropping a disappointing match at fourth- ranked Southern Methodist 3-1. That loss was costly For A&M as the Aggies were forced to surren der the Southwest Conference championship and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming SWC Tourna ment to the Mustangs. But, the A&M loss could also prove to be costly for two other teams this weekend as A&M looks to avenge its loss and get back on track. The Aggies travel to Gainesville, Fla. tonight to take on the University of Florida and then will head to Orlando on Sunday to battle Central Florida. Checking in with a 14-4 record and a No. 10 national ranking, their highest showing in program history, the Aggies will wrap up the regular season on Sunday. Left with a bitter taste in their mouths following Wednesday’s match, the team is looking to rebound and sal vage its road trip.
