Kay said that she and her husband enjoy the nudist lifestyle so much, they will prob ably remain active nudists for the rest of their lives. “It’s very much like anything else you do in life,” she said, “ex cept we have the ability to do it without clothes.” Holography Continued from Page 2 image, and Hastedt said that makes the art even more unique. “It’s fun to see people look ing at them and weaving and bobbing to see the pictures,” she said. “Every time you come in to see them, you’ll see some thing different.” Barilleaux said holography often requires people to relearn how to look at art. “It is important to come to each new work of art on its own terms rather than bring to it pre conceived assumptions,” he said. Texas A&M is the only place in Texas the exhibit will visit, and Hastedt said people should take advantage of the opportuni ty to see the holograms. “This is a one-time opportuni ty to see it in Texas,” Hastedt said. “You normally only get to see holograms on credit cards.” playing at The Dixie Theatre. Since he was signed to Rhythmic Records, Ingram Ingram released a self- titled album in 1992 and Lonesome Questions in 1994. On his first album, Ingram sang with Cary Pierce of Jackopierce. Peeping Tom, a cover band with a few original songs, is playing at The Tap. Storyville, a blues-rock band from Austin, is playing at 3rd Floor Cantina. The band was named Best New Band by the 1994 Austin Music Storyville Awards. Malford Milligan, lead singer of the band, was recognized by the Austin Chronicle as, "The most amazing male singer in Austin — bar none." Breedlove is opening. Saturday Big Apple Trio, a jazz band, is performing at Sweet Eugene's House of Java. Big Otis, a motown soul performer, is playing at 3rd Floor Cantina. The Crownhate Ruin, an alternative band from Washington D.C., is playing at Northgate Cafe. Alternative bands Trigger Quintet, from Houston, and Radioland Hit Squad, from Temple, are also performing. Liberation, a reggae band that plays all Caribbean music, is playing at The Dixie Theatre. Sunflower, a rock band from Austin, is playing at The Tap. The Logan Brothers, a cover band, is opening. Texas Fever, a country band from Austin, is playing at The Texas Hall of Fame. Judge throws out suit against King FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — A judge has dismissed a paternity lawsuit against Rodney King. Jada Tah’nessia Goodwin, 25, of Fresno had claimed King was the father of her 2 1/2-year-old son. The Superior Court lawsuit was dismissed after two sets of lab tests ruled him out, said King’s former attorney, A. Irv ing Osser. King settled a lawsuit last No vember in San Bernardino Coun ty by agreeing to pay child sup port for a 12-year-old daughter. Settlement reached in sexual assault case MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Tim othy Busfield has reached a set tlement with a teen-ager who accused him of sexually assault ing her on the set of Little Big League. The amount of the settlement wasn’t dis closed. The girl, identified in court docu ments only as R.W., claimed the “thir tysomething” actor gave her an alcoholic drink, assaulted her in his trail er and tried to coerce her into having sex in 1993. R.W., now 18, was an extra in the movie. A second lawsuit filed by the teen-ager against former Min nesota Vikings running back Keith Henderson will go for ward. Henderson, also an extra in the movie, was accused of sexually assaulting her on a Busfield parking ramp. Henderson was sentenced earlier this year to six months in prison for the assault on R.W. and two other women. When the lawsuits were filed in 1994, Busfield and Henderson denied any wrongdoing. Busfield attorney Richard Mark didn’t immediately return a call Wednesday. 'Northern Exposure' hits auction block REDMOND, Wash. (AP) — Chris’ Harley-Davidson sold for $13,500. Maurice’s antler chair went for $3,200 and Maggie’s parka went for $650. Fans of the canceled CBS se ries “Northern Exposure” snapped up just about every thing ever used on the show. A three-day auction that ended Sunday brought in $500,000 for Pipeline Produc tions, the company that pro duced the series that was dumped after five years. Joel’s boxer shorts and sweat pants went for more than $100 each. A wax statue of Maurice sold for $2,700 and his Lincoln Continental convertible brought in $13,000. Myers says DU I was 'a very big mistake' PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Dee Dee Myers pulled a Hugh Grant, calling her drunken dri ving arrest last month “a very big mistake.” The former White House press secretary spoke about her arrest Tuesday for the first time as she promoted her new perma nent position opposite Mary Matalin on CNBC’s “Equal Time” talk show. “I made a very big mistake,” she said. The arrest is “some thing that I regret, something that I think I can say with cer tainty will never happen again.” Myers was arrested June 27 in Wash ington for dri ving under the influence. She was fined $2,000 and faces a possi ble year in jail. “This has been a very Myers hard two weeks for me,” she said. “I did a really bad thing. I mean, people die from drunk driving. There is nothing funny about it. I’m sorry I’ve done it, but hopeful I’ll learn from it and go on.” Selleck looks to GM for Motor City link DETROIT (AP) — Tom Selleck played up his Detroit roots by wearing a Tigers cap in “Mag num, P.I.” Now he wants to buy a California factory that once built Motor City muscle cars. Selleck Properties Inc., owned by the actor and his two brothers, has joined with an other real estate developer, the Voit Cos., in bidding for a for mer General Motors Corp. plant in Van Nuys, Calif. The Sellecks want to turn the plant where Chevrolet Ca- maros and Pontiac Firebirds were once assembled into a re tail and industrial complex. “We’d like to think that we will be selected by GM for the development,” said Selleck’s fa ther, Robert Selleck. “But GM may be negotiating with one or two other developers.” GM should make a decision in about 45 days, he said. A GM spokesman wouldn’t comment.
