College Avenue Apartments — A witness observed three subjects attempting to enter a vehicle near | apartment building 13. Investigation I revealed the passenger side window of a 1984 Mazda was broken out to gain entry. The owner was contacted. A check of the vehicle revealed nothing was missing. Parking Area 89 - A Stihl I chainsaw, an air compressor, a two- ton jack stand, a Hi Lift truck jack and an assortment of other tools and accessories valued at $2,236.88 were stolen from the tool box mounted on the victim’s 1986 Chevrolet pickup truck. Parking Area 63 - Two Realistic speakers were stolen from the victim’s 1969 Volkswagen by someone who pried open the driver’s side vent window to gain entry. Parking Area 56 - The right rear window was shattered and an unknown brand radar detector was stolen from the victim’s 1977 Chevrolet. Theft of Service Texas A&M University Golf Course -Two individuals were detected attempting to play a round of golf without payment. The subjects met with Club House personnel and paid their fees. Misdemeanor Theft Zachry Engineering Center Bicycle Rack - A black 2 1 -speed Cannondale bicycle was stolen. Sterling C. Evans Library - Supplemental Information - The person responsible for selling a computer that had been assembled from parts taken from the library was identified. An arrest warrant was issued and the subject was booked into the Brazos County Jail. Blocker Building Bicycle Rack - A white Univega 10-speed bicycle was stolen. Veterinary Administration Building - A light blue Marin 21 -speed bicycle was stolen. Wisenbaker Engineering Research Center - The rear tire was stolen from the victim’s 1 O-speed bicycle while it was locked to a pole on the east side of the building. Zachry Engineering Center Bicycle Rack - A Murray Condor 1 O-speed bicycle painted blue green with spatters of white and silver was stolen from the bicycle rack on the west side of the building. Hobby Hall Bicycle Rack — A red Magna Red Rider 1 O-speed bicycle was stolen. Sterling C. Evans Library - A Police Beat memorial fund consisting of cash and personal checks was stolen from from a first floor room. Supplemental Information — Memorial Student Center - The victim located his wife’s stolen Raleigh 3- speed bicycle on the west side of Hart Hall. The investigating officer confirmed the information by reviewing the original theft report filed in October of 1993. While at the scene, the officer was able to gather additional facts that led to a suspect. The owner, who desired charges be filed, valued the bicycle at $ 15. The suspect was identifiea and a citation for theft under $20 was issued. Eller Oceanography and Meteorology Building Bicycle Rack — A black 12-speed Raleigh bicycle was stolen. University Police Department Building - A subject was detected stealing money from an employee coffee and flower fund. Charges are pending. Read Building - A purple Outdoor backpack containing the victim’s clothing and wallet was stolen from the hallway outside a handball court on the first floor of the building. Fowler Hall Bicycle Rack - A blue Aspen Valley Roadmaster 10-speed bicycle was stolen. Assault Krueger Hall - The victim’s fiance struck her in the chest when she told him she wished to end their engagement. The victim sustained a contusion to the sternum. Harassment Neeley Hall - The victim received a call from a subject claiming to be a College Station Police Officer concerning a shooting at a local bar. Investigation revealed the call to be bogus. Terroristic Threat Dunn Hall - The victims have received several threatening telephone calls from an unknown male. The subject is apparently calling to speak to a former resident who owes him money. Criminal Mischief Southside Parking Garage - Someone wrote several obscene words on the victim’s vehicle with white shoe polish. Parking Area 3 - The victim found a bicycle leaning on the left front quarter panel of his vehicle. Investigation revealed the bicycle had been thrown on the victim’s vehicle denting the hood and left front quarter panel in three places. Ocean Drilling Program Building — Someone used a blue pen to deface a desk top in a first floor room. Parking Area 1 - Two dents were found in the driver’s door of the victim’s Ford Explorer. The damage appeared to be from a projectile similar to a BB or pellet. Hensel Terrace Apartments - The victim heard what he believed to be a gunshot followed by the breaking of glass in his bedroom. Investigation revealed some type of projectile had struck and broke the middle glass pane of the bedroom window. The projectile was not found. Parking Area 3 2 — A sharp instrument was used to scratch a 3 1 / 2 foot section of the right rear quarter panel on the victim’s 1986 Pontiac. Dormitory 8 - Several pry marks were found on the top hinge pin on the northwest exterior door. Public Intoxication/Minor in Possession of Alcoholic Beverage Wellborn and Holleman Drive - The intoxicated passenger of a motorist charged with DWI was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Criminal Mischief/Criminal Trespass/Public Intoxication Francis Hall - Five individuals were detected fleeing from Francis Hall following a loud crash from inside the building. Investigation revealed the subjects had entered the building througn a third floor window. Once inside, they toppled a vending machine on the first floor causing damage to the machine, wall, baseboard, floor and fire alarm pull station. The subjects were transported to the Brazos County Jail and incarcerated. Driving While Intoxicated Old College Main - An intoxicated motorist was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Parking Area 89 - An intoxicated pedestrian was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. George Bush Drive - Three intoxicated motorists were arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Wellborn Road at Joe Routt Blvd. - An intoxicated motorist was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Wellborn Road at Houston Street - An intoxicated motorist was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Wellborn Road - An intoxicated motorist was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Driving While ving IntoxicatedAVarrant Arrest Wellborn Road - An intoxicated motorist who also had an outstanding Department of Public Safety traffic warrant for speeding was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Driving While Intoxicated/Unlawful Carrying Weapon Wellborn and Holleman Drive - an intoxicated motorist, who was also found to have a wooden club by the right side of the drivers seat, was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. FM 2818 - An intoxicated motorist arrested for DWI was also found in possession of a Davis Industries P-380 automatic pistol loaded with two rounds of ammunition. The weapon was found in a case that was protruding from under the seat. The suspect was transported to the Brazos County Jail and incarcerated. The weapon was placed into evidence storage at the University Police Department. Public Intoxication/Disorderly Conduct Turkey Creek Road at Polo Club - The detection of an individual urinating in public led to his and his two companions’ arrest. They were transported to the Brazos County Jail and incarcerated. Public Intoxication West Main Drive - The intoxicated passenger of a motorist charged with DWI was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Wellborn Road at Houston Street - The intoxicated passenger of a motorist charged with DWI was arrested and incarcerated in the Brazos County Jail. Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Traffic Warrant Arrest South Bizzell Street — A motorist stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit was arrested following the verification of an outstanding Texas Department of Public Safety traffic warrant. After an inventory of the suspect’s vehicle prior to towing, a small quantity of marijuana, along with several pieces of drug paraphernalia were found inside a cassette tape box in the vehicle.
