Union members gathered Mon day at the Charleston Greyhound station for their third Labor Day on strike. “We're celebrating a labor holi day but that doesn't mean any thing to corporate America/' said Rodney Lambert, a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Lo cal 1493. ''The Constitution says we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But when you can't; feed your kids, you don't have the pursuit of happiness/' he said. In March 1990, 6,300 union members nationwide went on strike against Greyhound Lines Inc. after negotiators missed a strike deadline. Dallas-based Greyhound, the country's only national bus line, hired replacement bus drivers. Union members continue to be bitter about the labor dispute. Their $50-a-week strike benefits were cut off after only six months and many have given up hope on ever reaching a settlement. ’Em While Its Hot! ELAND CYC Li Me a FiTMESS 202 UNIVERSITY DR.
