Caldwell went back to Min nesota every six months for the first two years to monitor for signs of her body rejecting her sister's pancreas. Both women are fine now, and Prihoda said Caldwell is a totally different person. "She wouldn't have lived," Prihoda said. "She had about six months to live if we hadn't gotten the transplant." Caldwell said she has not been admitted to the hospital since the transplant. "I have had such a remark able three years and it has made my marriage and my children so much happier," she said. But millions of Americans are not as lucky as Prihoda and Caldwell. Diabetics have to take shots daily to provide their bodies with insulin not being pro duced naturally. Caldwell and Prihoda both are healthy, but now are wor ried because their brother has diabetes and the waiting list for organs is so long. "There are so many people that need organs," Caldwell said. "It is sad that when people die, they won't give their or gans to save another — a pan creas could be so helpful to someone." "I really want to continue my ties to A&M and serve the Class of '92," he said. Matthews said she wants to keep the closeness she feels with her classmates. "I hope to keep the cama raderie we have as a class," she said. Since the agents' term is five years, new agents will be elected at the Class of '92 five-year re union. Lorson said she hopes all of her classmates will make the reunion. "We want to make sure every one possible can attend," she said. "We can tell old Ag stories to gether."
