My name is Seth
Chambliss, and I hope to
serve you as one of the
next Junior Yell Leaders.
Since the fall of 1990,
becoming a Yell Leader
has been one of my
highest goals. From the
beginning, I knew I could
exemplify everything that
Texas A&M is about - tradition and being as
close as family. As a Yell Leader, I will
continue to promote our many traditions.
Twelfth Man, Corps of Cadets, Bonfire, Muster,
etc., to help maintain the same closeness of OT
Army Days. Texas A&M has a good thing, and
we need to hang on to that.
So no matter who are elected as Junior Yell
Leaders, I know each one of us can do equally
as good a job, if not better, than any past Yell
Leader. Thus, I will do my best to serve you
and Texas A&M.

Howdy Ags,
My name is Chad
Cross and I'm a
sophomore agricultural
economics major from
Irving running for Junior
Yell Leader. My father is
Class of '57 and older
brother is Class of '84.
Having grown up
surrounded by the many
traditions of Texas A&M University, I feel
confident that I possess the responsibility to
serve the 12th Man as a Junior Yell Leader.
Last spring, I walked on for the football team.
However, due to the time commitment for
practice, and my first priority being the Corps
of Cadets, I could not continue my dream of
playing for the Aggies. As a Junior Yell Leader,
I can still serve the 12th Man and the student
body. A Yell Leader should be many things,
but most of all a "SOLDIER, STATESMAN,
KNIGHTLY GENTLEMAN." Vote Chad Cross,
#3 on the ballot, on April 1 and 2, for Junior
Yell Leader.

mission, the man with the
plan to unite Aggieland.
As a Yell Leader, I
want to bring back and
enhance some of those
things that have fallen
short of Texas A&M quality. If something is
not uplifting and first class, it isn't Texas A&M.
Texas A&M is built on love: from Muster to
Silver Taps, to the way we all feel about each
other, just because we're Aggies.
The mission is all of ours. When we go
home, we represent A&M. People there don't
know what Aggie Spirit is, but they know
everyone of us and that is Texas A&M.
Now the decision is yours.
It is up to each of you to search your hearts
and find out how you want Texas A&M
University represented to the world.

Kelly and I am a sopho

Junior Yell Leader is a
position of leadership,
dedication and tradition.
I believe I would be an
effective leader who is
dedicated to upholding
the traditions of Texas
A&M. I am willing to work hard and accept
the responsibilities and commitment.
As the last of six brothers and sisters to
attend A&M, I know that being an Aggie is
special and I would be honored to represent
the best university in the country as a Junior
Yell Leader. I hope to raise support for men's
and women's athletics. Bonfire, and all other
student activities that carry on Aggie
traditions. My goal is to let everyone know
how great Aggieland is by leading the Spirited
Fighting Texas Aggie 12th Man.
So let's get fired up Ags!

believe Yell Leaders
should be people who
know what is right and
are willing to stand up for
it. The term is "Yell
Leader," not "yell follow-
the-crowder." So, they
should yell and lead. "Do
not conform any longer to the pattern of this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind" (Romans 12:2a). In other words,
"whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever
is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable — if anything is
excellent or praiseworthy — think about such
things . . . [and] put it into practice"
(Philippians 4:8,9a). I aim to do just that. If
you have any questions or want to talk, call me

Howdy!
My name is Mark
Rollins and Tm an
engineering major from
Arlington. Being a third
generation Aggie, I've
grown up knowing the
spirit and traditions of
Aggieland. However, by
being an active part of the
12th Man, I feel we all
share a rich heritage here at A&M. Since my
freshman year, I have been involved in Class
Council, Student Government, Fish Camp, the
MSC, and the Corps.
The experiences gained in these
organizations have instilled in me the desire to
give back something to this University which
has given me so much. A Yell Leader must be
dedicated, responsible, and willing to serve
and represent the students of A&M at all times.
Being elected would be a dream come true, and
I pledge to do my best to live up to the
standards we all hold for Yell Leaders.
REMEMBER - "Roll WITH ROLLINS" on
election day.

means to be an Aggie: to
be willing to give my time
to uphold tradition, and to
exemplify the Spirit of
Aggieland. To be a Yell * eader is to represent
every member of the stu body in a manner
consistent with the Aggie Code of Honor. An
Aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal, but an Aggie
does emulate the ideal set forth by our 12th
Man, E. King Gill, and support the endeavors
of all students 112%.
The Aggie Spirit shine from within, for all
the world to see.
A gift from generations, shared with you
and me.
So no matter where life leads you, whether
near or far.
