"We're putting together an unbelievable packet to hand out to people personally at the hotels and down at the convention," said Bill Floyd, general manager of Rick's Cabaret, a club that de rives its name from the movie "Casablanca" and caters to an up scale audience. "We figure the VIP room is going to be a premium during that two-week period," he said. The convention will be held Aug. 17-20 in the Astrodome, with platform hearings scheduled for the week before. "It's certainly not something that we're going to encourage," said Republican National Com mittee spokesman Gary Koops. "They certainly aren't work ing with us, and we have no in tention of working with them." Asked if clubs would be al lowed to sell suggestive T-shirts from concession booths at the As trodome — as one is trying to do — Koops laughed, saying that possibility ranked in the "zero and nil" category. candidates Drives Democrat will issue* , ^ ..r ,, v m plan for drug summil state to h; Noven pendentc Holman, a The self-m said he wil makes all 5 Perot, ( SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A key congressman will ask Preside ® ervi ces coi Bush to follow up last month's international drug summit ini mi ° vvn ( or Antonio with a domestic version.
