B efore Saturday's Texas A&M- Louisiana State matchup, there was some concern that the in experience factor would cause prob lems for the Aggies. Saturday, they put that to rest - fast. The Aggies clearly dominated the Tigers from the first minute, en route to an impressive 45-7 win in front of 66,281 at Kyle Field. The parade of freshmen, who had never had battle experience be fore, proved that they have what it takes to win in big-time college foot ball. Every element of LSU's strategy was effectively shut down by the young tykes in maroon. The Tigers could not run. They could not pass. They could not rush the quarterback. And LSU has no excuse. They returned 20 starters from last year. The Aggies had only two return ing starters on offense and sb 1 ! racked up 45 points, 28 of them in the second quarter. And one of those starters, senior quarterback Bucky Richardson, had only one complete drive before falling to injury. Four quarterbacks played in the game, and three of them led the offense to touchdowns. Even Jeff Granger, tanned and rested from his trip to Cuba playing baseball at the Pan American Games, scored by rushing and throwing for two touchdowns in the second quar ter.
