Pilot survives plane crash in Kansas BAZAAR, Kan. (AP) - The pi lot of a plane that crashed and burned in Chase County Monday was in critical condition at the University of Kansas Medical Cen- I ter. The pilot. Dale R. Opitz, 67, of ‘ Amarillo, Texas, reached the Kansas Turnpike about a quarter- mile west of the crash site and flagged down a motorist for help. Dispatcher Suzanne Asbridge i of the Turnpike Authority said the i motorist took Opitz to Newman Hospital in Emporia. Opitz suf fered severe burns and was in crit ical condition after being trans ferred to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Woman charged with running over husband SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A Woman accused of running her ] husband down with her car in a nightclub parking lot was charged | Monday with murder. Rosemary Grover, 30, was be- j |ng held at the Bexar County Jail in the death of her husband, ftuben Farias, 29, said San Antonio Police Sergeant Mike Akeroyd.
