All nine perfor mances of last year's production sold out. "I wouldn't have a problem paying that price because of the quality of program that will be seen," he said. Anne Black, executive director of OP AS, said the OP AS commit tee is prepared for the long lines at the ticket office. "We will be serving coffee and doughnuts for those who will camp out overnight," she said. "Last year, there were 800 people waiting in line before the ticket of fice opened at 9 a.m." Black said people would ex pect to be charged $60 if they went to a similar performance in Hous ton or New York. The Bolshoi Ballet's perfor mances benefited the University as well as the Bryan-College Sta tion area. Black said. In addition to the positive reviews of the perfor mance, national media coverage of the ballet enhanced A&M's repu tation across the nation. The production of "Swan Lake" will be Oct. 16 through 20. Tom Williams, director of A&M's Depart ed him jhent of Parking, Transit and Traffic Services, .■aid students who have not received parking 10 l ermits b y need a current permit to park on campus. Students who preregistered in B/Iay received the 15,000 parking permits dis- O tributed by mail. L 0 I "If a student did not request that option (to buy a permit), he can go to Rudder to get a per mit," he said. Fall permits, which are current until the end of the Spring '92 term, can be purchased at the PTTS office on University Drive and in the first floor of Rudder Tower. Cashiers will ac cept check, cash or credit card. The cost may be added to a student's fee statement. Williams said no grace period exists for parking on campus without a permit. "We're ready to go so you might as well get parking out of the way," he said. "They need to get their permits." Williams said students will be able to avoid lines for permits through preregistration. "Preregistering, as far as parking is con cerned, is the answer to avoid any inconve nience," he said. Williams said students should notice im provements inparking because of the North, South and University Center parking garages. The University Center Parking garage, across from Rudder Tower, opens Tuesday. More on- campus and commuter parking lots also are being consolidated to offer students more parking options. The PTTS cashier window in Rudder will be open today and Thursday until 6 p.m., Fri day until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at GREAT PRICES Any Size Honey or Walnut SAVE $100 TODAY'S PRICE $ 399 $ 19 95 WAVELESS SOFTSIDE i from 6 styles & firmnesses From $ 299 Uses regular linens and attaches sily to your headboard 8 footboard Any Size Honey or Walnut SAVE $70 TODAY’S PRICE 5-PIECE LINEN PACKS 40 BEDS UNDER $ 399 ^tUfiTERBEDS ‘for Tonights Comfort NEW STATION LOCATION Also: post Oak Square *Til Killeen (on Harwey Next To CVtJa III Temple Post Oak Mall) Waco 693-1061 I I I i I I I I-E71 ihoritial ?ternffi [ e wilii DunJbj I ico sai.
