The Class of ’91 whoops it up during a yell practice held at the north end of Kyle Field. Afterward, the mass of people
was led through the quad. Every year, before bonfire, seniors gather in front of the Sul Ross statue and wander
around campus like elephants looking for a place to die. Elephant Walk is one of the many traditions at Texas A&M
which unifies the class and enhances the school spirit.
Senior Alanna Russell tries to escape a
pile-up which ensued when juniors at
tacked her with shaving cream. Other se
niors came to her rescue and launched a
counterattack.

Senior bonfire redpots stir up the crowd before leading them
around campus to the bonfire site.
Juniors from Sq. 10 bombard the wall of seniors in the quad with water balloons with the help of a giant slingshot. Juniors
take strategic positions along the Elephant Walk route and try to hit the seniors with a barrage of ammunition, such as
honey, mustard, ketchup, syrup, shaving cream, tomatoes, eggs and water balloons.
