Every year, before bonfire, seniors gather in front of the Sul Ross statue and wander around campus like elephants looking for a place to die. Elephant Walk is one of the many traditions at Texas A&M which unifies the class and enhances the school spirit. Juniors from Sq. 10 bombard the wall of seniors in the quad with water balloons with the help of a giant slingshot. Juniors take strategic positions along the Elephant Walk route and try to hit the seniors with a barrage of ammunition, such as honey, mustard, ketchup, syrup, shaving cream, tomatoes, eggs and water balloons.
