ARSON: • A piece of paper was set on fire in the men’s locker room at Sbisa Dining Hall, but the building was not damaged. BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: • A JVC camcorder was stolen from Harrington Tower. Computer diskettes were stolen from a room in the Veterinary Ad ministration Building. • A Panasonic VCR was stolen from a room in Bizzell Hall. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: • Paint on a student’s car was scratched when it was parked in parking area 30. • A student’s yellow Trek boy’s 2-speed bicycle was dropped over the railing of the fourth floor bal cony of Mclnnis Hall to the ground below. ATTEMPTED CRIMINAL MIS CHIEF: • The fire hose on the sixth floor of the Blocker Building was tam pered with, but officers determined that the suspect(s) had failed in their attempt to discharge the hose be cause they had not fully removed the hose from the mounting box. FELONY THEFT: • A Bryan woman reported the possible theft of her 1988 silver Nis san Sentra four-door automobile from Spence Street. In the report she said that her ex-husband may have taken the car. MISDEMEANOR THEFT: • Two Bryan residents were ar rested after police noticed a street n in the bed of their pickup truck, te street sign had just been stolen — the suspects broke the sign pole by hitting it with their vehicle. Four wallets were stolen from different locations on campus. All were left unattended. Two cloth wall hangings were stolen from Rudder Theater Com plex. A student reported that her P b; stolen from her ackpack while she was on the fourth floor of Sterling C. Evans Li brary. Two hours after reporting the theft, her pocketbook was found in the restroom of the Mobil Station on University Drive. The cash K identifi cation and bank ATM card were missing from the pocketbook. • Fourteen bicycles were stolen from various locations around cam pus. T From the Read Building the following items were stolen from locked lockers: two racquetball rac quets, athletic equipment, jewelry three wallets and three locks. • An unsecured backpack was stolen from a table in the MSC. DRIVING WHILE INTOXI GATED: • Police stopped a vehicle after the driver violated several traff laws. The driver was charged with DWI. A minor in the car was in pos ssession of alcoholic beverages and was charged with an MIP. PUBLIC INTOXICATION: • A College Station man was given a Public Intoxication citation after police observed him stagger and stumbling as he walked down East Main Drive. BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VE HICLE. • The T-tops were stolen from a student’s ’86 Chevrolet I ROC Z-28 which was in Parking Area 50. The suspect also attempted theft of the car by damaging the steering col umn lock but Failed. • Windows were broken on three vehicles in Parking Area 63. The cars belonged to students attending Fish Camp. Officers found evidence that the three vehicles had been bur glarized, and believe the crime was in progress when the police arrived. FLEEING OR ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE A PEACE OFFICER: • Police attempted to stop a vehi cle driving without lights on Horti culture Road, but the driver eluded officers.
