I’m currently serving as junior class president, and I’m looking forward to continu ing that position for our se nior year. I’ve watched our class grow strong this year as the Class of ’89 Council and I have worked hard for a suc cessful year. I’m excited about having the opportunity to work at making our class grow even stronger our senior year through several goals: contin uing class unity, pride, aware ness and involvement. A lack of com munication prevails between class representatives and the class. I have numerous ideas to make Class of’90 a produc tive as well as an exciting, spontaneous class. Katherine Smith Business Administration Howdy, Class of ‘90. My name is Katherine Smith and I am running for president of our class. I have several goals that I plan to achieve as presi dent. One goal is reorganiz ing and defining council. This would establilsh a firm policy of who does what, when and how. Everyone is a member of the Class of ’90 and as such, my second goal is to initiate an awareness com mittee that will build strength and unity within our class. My qualifications include fish camp counselor, sorority and serving on this year’s council as your chairman of class ball. The experience of working with and for stu dents forms the foundation for my goals and candidacy.
