«»• will hold a Posada - a traditional Mexican Christmas procession
depicting the search of Mary and Joseph for an inn
The Posada will begin at 6 pm at the All Faiths Chapel across from
the Health Center. From here we will travel to ’•inns’’ Legett Hall,
Pwryear Hall, and Hart Hall. We will end our ’’search” at the
Memorial Student Center. Refreshments will be served. All are invited!

Texas A&M linebacker Johnny
Holland was named to the 1985 As
sociated Press All-America team
Monday.
Holland, a 219-pound junior
from Hempstead, averaged 15
tackles per game for the Aggies, who
captured their first Southwest Con
ference title in 18 years this season.
M ichigan State running back Lo-
lenzo White and Oklahoma line
backer Brian Bosworth. two of the
best sophomores to come along in
recent years, also were among the
list of elites.
fhey were joined on the team by

Bo Jackson of Auburn and Lom-
baroi Award recipient Tony Casillas.

It was the second appearance on
the first team for Jackson, who made
it in 1983 but missed out a year ago
when he was limited to six games be
cause of a shoulder injury, and Casil
las. one of six repeaters from last
season.

Everett of Baylor and Mark Moore
of Oklahoma State, and punter
Barry Helton of Colorado.
Wnite hurst upon the scene and
led the nation in rushing with a Big
Ten-record 1,908 yards, an average
of 173.5 yards per game. Jackson,
the early-season leader, was ham
pered by nagging injuries in several
games anci finished third with 102.4
yards a game, and a total of 1,780
rushing yards.
White and Jackson finished
fourth anci fifth, respectively, in all-

only other sophomore on the first
team is Helton, who finished second
nationally in punting with a 40.0-
yard average, l^e made good on 21
of 24 field goal attempts and became
the leading kicker in NCAA history.

seven juniors — Smith, Bregel,
Brooks, Holland, Everett, Fulcner
and Mcxire
The team was selected by the AP*s
regional sjxirts editors, along with

sports editor, from all-conference
