Losing just two players from last year’s 33-4 team, Head Coach Terry Condon only needed to fill the va cancies. Condon went out and found four players capable of filling those two voids. Kelly Galighn, a 5-foot-10 middle blocker from Glen Ellyn, Ill., Kelli Kellen, a 6-2 middle blocker from Conroe, Cheri Steensma, a 5-10 out side hitter from San Ramon, Calif, and Dena Zalesky, a 6-0 middle blocker from Lodgepole, Neb. make up this year’s recruiting list. Condon seemed pleased with the signees. “I got the recruits I was after,” Condon said. “They should give us a better nucleus of starters and more bench support. All our recruiting was positive.
