Dallas overcame a 15-point, first-quarter deficit and an as tounding first-half show by Seattle’s Gus Williams to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five se- front three minutes deep in the final quarter and surged to a five-point lead. Seattle, however, ran off eight straight points to take an 86-83 advantage with 2:30.
