There are a lot of people the Cowboys management would not consider appropriate own ers because of the NFL rules, Schramm said. The timing of an announce ment doesn’t make any differ ence either, Schramm said. “It would have no effect on the players or anything like that,” Schramm said. “There is no special magic about announc ing anything at the end of the season. But it will probably take that long to do it (sell the club) anyway. “This is not something that is going to go fast. Five or six peo ple have sent their auditors in to look at our books. But after they have looked at our books, we ha ven’t heard from them again. “That is understandable. They have to go back in their own business situation and see how they would structure it from a tax standpoint. “They have to do their home work and that takes a long time.” Schramm is searching for a buyer at the request of the fami lies of Clint and John Murchi son. The brothers each owned 45 percent of the franchise. John Murchison died three years ago and Clint Murchison, who has been in ill health for the past year, has decided to sell the franchise. s SCHULMAN THEATRES Mon-Fmly Nite-Sch 6 Tue-Fmly Nite-MEIII SCHULMAN 6 2002 E 29th 775-2463 775-2468 7:25 9:45 THE BIG CHILL H3TS5 MR.
