Dr. Courand Rothe, director of the Metropolitan Health Dis trict, said investigators are still looking for the source of the dis ease although the outbreak appeared to be over. The ninth victim was con firmed to have the case this weekend, but no new cases have been reported, he said. All but one of the nine victims are students at Trinity Universi ty, but health officials said the other victim often ate at the cam pus cafeteria. Up to 200 stool and blood samples have been taken from Trinity food service employees and workers at nearby res taurants. “I don’t think we should (call jSOOOOOOOOOOOOSOSOSOOA PIANO LESSONS 8 Q GUITAR LESSONS 1 8 MASTERS DEGREE Music Ed, North Texas State |Elementary and College] Teaching [Experience. I don’t know if we can abandon the chase or not.” State officials were in San Antonio to confer with Rothe on whether they should heed U.S. Rep. Henry B. Gonzalez, who wants the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta to enter the case. So far, state health officials have not entered the San Anto nio investigation and have not requested that the CDC become , involved. a t m CAMPUS Walk, Cycle, or Shuttle. It’s only 8 Blocks. It would be a difficult decision to set her free isolated from other pygmy killer whales that live only in groups, he said If she should completely re cover, “we’d have to make some decisions, because being a social animal, the chances of finding any of her kind in the Gulf prob ably would be kind of slim. We’d have to think about that. It’s cer tainly one of our options.” Amos said marine experts from the University of Texas and Texas A&M University had been making notes on the anim al’s behavir and conducting medical tests, recording heart beats and any “vocalization.” Amos said the whale had been emitting “a series of clicks,” but nothing as vocal as the “song” noises made by a smaller male whale, believed to Sugar’s calf, that died last weekend. The scientists theorized that it was the socialization factor that caused two small whales, both of which appeared healthier than the extremely ill female, to beach with her near Port Aran sas on Dec. 1. The smallest most active male died the day after the three were found, and the second male died the second day. /IeroLink LUVlOUSiME SERVICES Offering Daily Scheduled Service to the Houston Airports SOUTHBOUND AM AM PM PM FARE DEPART: Bryan/College Station (Ramada Inn) 5:20 7:50 12:15 3:50 ARRIVE: Intercontinental 7:30 10:00 2:25 6:00 $27.00 ARRIVE: William P.
