Adcock, 21, of Katy, who goes by the name Skip Stan ley and uses the nickname “Blue Bandit,” also faced a threatened criminal lawsuit by the owners of the tower. Adcock posted $1,000 bond and was freed after spending the night in jail. Justice of the Peace Robert Stahl set Dec. 15 as a hearing date on a criminal trespass charge filed by Fort Bend Coun ty officials. The charge is a mis demeanor. Adcock scaled a 4-inch dia meter guywire on Sunday to make the daring climb, his second such stunt in the Hous ton area in seven months. Previously, he climbed 68 stories on the face of the 71-story Allied Bank Plaza and then parachuted off in downtown. He was charged in the latest incident after jumping off the broadcasting tower in the Fort Bend County town of Missouri City and riding a parachute to safety. He landed in a resident’s yard and was taken in by the couple who lived there. That couple then thwarted Fort Bend Coun ty deputies’ attemptsloi him for two hours.
