Students can liven up dead week by taking a study break and get ting into the holiday spirit. Caroling, a fun-oriented RHA Chri slr nas activity, was dis cussed Tuesday night at the reg ular meeting of RHA. Karen Bloch, director of RHA programs committee, said carolers and guitar players should meet at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Lawrence Sullivan Ross statue. She encouraged resi dence hall councils to publicize the event and to promote stu dent participation. Carolers first will make their way around to the north-side dormitories, picking up more singers along the way. I he group next will visit the south- side dormitories and then move on to the home of President Frank E. Vandiver. Bloch said the group also will attend the 7:30 p.m. Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in the Memorial Student Center. In other action, Nicole Wil- r MULTI-FAMILY GARAGE SALE!! The areas are: Hobby- Neeley halls, Legett Hall, A-l lounge, Underwood Hall-Corps lounge C, and Corps lounge D. In other business, RHA adviser Nyla Ptomey said dormi tories and student organizations are welcome to use a recently- established resource file that lists administrators and faculty members who are offering to speak on various topics such as stress, hobbies and self development. She also gave guidelines for out-of-town dormitory activities to each RHA member. The guidelines were designed by the Department of Student Affairs to help hall councils plan events such as canoe trips, lake parties and bus trips. Santa Claus is coming to A&N! Texas A&M faculty and stu dents currently use the Amdahl computer, named after the Amdahl Computer Corp. The system commonly is referred to by its software name — Wylbur. “Wylbur just is not seen after the students graduate,” he said.
