Lestrade, assistant professor of physics. Until now the observatory has been used by students in astronomy classes, Lestrade said, hut soon the public will be able to use the observatory f ree. After the open house, the observatory will be open on a regular basis, he said. The re sponse to the open house will determine how often the obser vatory will be open to the public. A 14-inch telescope is in the 16-foot dome of the observatory and 16 8-inch telescopes are on the external observational path. Students learn about the planets, stars, phases and mo tions of the moon, the Milky Way and sunspots, he said. 7 0jf\ esoA S T T nr HT P T T T v-z X X Xi Xv o iVX X X-f Xy CONDOMINIUMS OPEN HOUSE MODEL OPEN Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Located on Stallings Drive in College Station Behind Woodstone Shopping Center Features: 2 Bedroom VA and 2Vi baths • Fireplace with wood mantel • Sloped cypress ceilings • Built-in microwave ovens • Frost free refrigerators with ice-makers • Private 2 car garage • Swimming pool For information contact Stanford Real Estate Investments, 696*6500/ 846-574L Located between Dominik Drive and University Oaks Blvd. on Stallings Drive.
