Election billboard missing A campaign sign belonging to Kelli Riesling, candidate for RHA president, has dis appeared. The sign was last seen Monday evening on the grassy area near Haas Hall. The sign read “Kelli Riesling for RHA President.” Riesling asks that anyone knowing the location of the sign, call her at 260-0262. Riesling said instead of re placing the sign she will use funds for some other facet of her campaign. Candidates who have filed for offices in the upcoming elec tions need to check at 216 the Pavilion to see if they have been included in the list of election candidates. Pot bust nets man 2 times United Press International AUSTIN — A deputy sheriff who investigated two possible burglaries at a Travis County house got his man both times. He arrested the resident twice for marijuana possession in two hours. The resident’s transforma tion from potential victim to sus pect began about noon Monday when Deputy Sheriff Lester Vanzura saw a pickup backed into the man’s garage, author ities said. Vanzura stopped to in vestigate and peeked through a window into the kitchen. Vanzura reported he saw marijuana in a jar on the table and arrested the resident, who was released from jail on bond about an hour later. About 1:30 p.m., a neighbor called the sheriffs office to re port another possible burglary at the man’s house and Vanzura returned, authorities said.
