Jerry Fal- well, founder of the Moral Ma jority, said he has been assured by Israel’s prime minister that the small nation eventually will control an area that includes parts of Egypt and Turkey. “Israel’s (Prime Minister Menachem) Begin shares the Biblical view of the promised land,” said Falwell in a copyright story in the Tyler Courier- Times-T elegraph. He said Begin, whom he termed a personal friend, told him that the first book of the Bible predicts Israel eventually will have boundaries on the Euphrates and Nile rivers and will include portions of Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the Sudan, Lebanon, Jor dan and Kuwait. Begin is the first prime minis ter to believe in the literal truth fulness of the Old Testament, Falwell said. Begin said Israel was not aggressively trying to take the land, Falwell said. “All he is doing is preserving that which has been delivered to them.” He said the United States was trying to “blackmail” Israel into turning over the Sinai to Egypt at Camp David. The evangelist said God views nations by their relationship to Israel. “God deals with nations in re lation to how nations deal with Israel,” he said. “I believe God blesses America and has blessed America because we have bles sed Abraham and have blessed the Jews.” — What MSC Committee has brought you a former President, Nobel Prize Winner, US Senator, Chairman of IT&.T and former Na tional Security Advisor?
