Top winner of 29 entries in this year’s International Ski Film Festival is “Crystal Dreams,” \vhich combines a ski clothes fashion show with a display of magnificent skiing amid the beauties of St. Moritz in Switzer land and Snowbird in Utah. It differs from the routine fare of films on the latest ski equipment, techniques, instruc tion and travel. Written, dire cted and produced by Will) Bogner to display the Bogner fashions, it does so discreetly while showing the creamofdow nhill racing, powder skiing, cross country touring, ice skat ing and even sleigh rides at the two resorts. A close second in the festival film competition is a Mack Sen- nett-style approach to tips on ski safety, “The Ski Dummies," which employs the talents of two acrobatic skiers and downs from Munich, West Germany. The winning films, also in cluding one of the 1982 World Cup Downhill races and an in troduction to a resort in Winter Park, Colo., are being shown in the Salem Spirit Ski Scene prog ram for ski shows, resorts and clubs.
