V. Lance Tarrance & Associ ates of Houston conducted the study for the Governor’s Task Force on Illegal Aliens by inter viewing more than 1,500 un documented workers in all parts of the state. The questions were asked by bilingual interviewers. Most of the aliens used for the study were undocumented workers who had been arrested by the Immigration and Natur alization Service and were being deported to Mexico voluntarily.
