Rocky Horror Picture Show: The most bizarre treatment yet of the Frankenstein myth, com plete with rock music, transvest ism and kinky sex. Barry Bost- wick and Susan Sarandon por tray lost travelers who wander into Tim Curry’s castle and ex perience a night to remember. Midnight Friday and Saturday. R. Ragtime: Donald O’Connor and Elizabeth McGovern star in this fictional account of a famous murder case in New York City at the turn of the cen tury. PG. MSC Grove: 845-1515 A-Clockwork Orange: An ex perimental form of rehibilita- tion is used on a young man whose hobbies are Beethoven and ultraviolence. Thursday. R. Gaddyshack: Bill Murray and Chevy Chase star in this movie satire on country club life. Fri day and Saturday. R Th e Goodbye Girl: A hopeful actor (Richard Dreyfuss) and an over-30 chorus girl (Marsha Mason) both make claims for the same apartment in this Neil Simon comedy. Sunday. G Diamonds are Forever: Sean Connery, in his last Bond movie, teams up with Jill St. John to fight a diamond smuggler. Mon day. PG. Blazing Saddles: A western Secret of Nimh: A widowed mouse calls on some tough, smart rats to help save her fami ly from exterminators in this animated feature. G. Post Oak Mall Cinema 764-0616 /Vnnie: Little Orphan Annie comes to life on the big screen in this musical comedy about an orphan’s adventures as she tries to find a home. Carol Burnett, Albert Finney and Bernadette Peters star. PG. rky’s: Comedy about wild lagrers and their preoccupa- Plitt Cinema I&II 846-6714 Strek II: The Wrath of Khan: The second in the Star Trek movie series, supposedly better than the first, with a more ac tion-packed plot. For Trekkies, consider this a sequel to one of the TV episodes — “Space Seed.” PG. IVIega Force: Using fancy weapons, an elite military force defends a small democratic na tion from mercenaries. PG. Jf oltergeist: A suburban neigh borhood project is built over an ancient burial site. All of the ghosts from this graveyard even tually manifest themselves in one household. Probably where the old saying “more than three poltergeists is a crowd” came from. PG. E.T.: An alien from a distant planet is stranded on earth by his mother ship and hidden by a small boy. They learn from each other how to grow up alone on their respective planets. PG. A-uthor! Author!: A1 Pacino plays a writer whose wife leaves him with five kids. It’s a ratrace at his house. PG. Schulman Six 775-2468 Rocky III: Sylvester Stallone stars as everyone’s favorite box er, Rocky. In this feature, Rocky is rich and fights to stay that way, along with savoring his pride. Starring the same old characters from the past two Rocky films. PG. A Mid-summer’s Night Sex Comedy: A new movie starring, written and directed by Woody Allen. Use your imagination to figure out what this one is about. PG. Fire Fox: Clint Eastwood is ajet pilot who’s up against the Rus sians. R. On Golden Pond: Henry Fon da and Katharine Hepburn give Oscar-winning performances as an elderly couple coming to grips with old age. PG. Blade Runner: Harrison Ford is back in this adventure about men battling the machines they have created. R. ErON: Man is trapped in a computer he created. The movie might remind one of a life-size video game. PG. Skyway Twin Drive-Inn 822-3300 Raiders of the Lost Ark: In diana Jones (Harrison Ford) keeps slipping in and out (most ly in) of danger in his pursuit of the Ark of the Covenant. PG.
