Arkansas, 23-5, won the Southwest Conference tournament Saturday with an 84-69 victory over Houston. The Razorbacks also captured the Southwest Conference championship after winning all their games at home and splitting on the road to finish with a 12-4 record in regular season conference play. The Razorbacks drew a bye in the first round of the NCAA playoffs and will move straight to the second round. The Kansas State-Southern Illinois game will be played Friday night. No. 2-ranked DePaul University also drew a bye and is in the Midwest bracket of the tournament. Sunday, DePaul will play the winner of the Boston College-San Francisco game that will be played Friday night.
