At Law Day, students can find out more about law schools and what the legal profession is like, student Chairman Jim Sto- larski said. A mock LSAT has been sche duled for Feb. 16 at 8 a.m. in 102 Zachry Engineering Center. Sign-up for the mock test is in 100 Harrington Tower and the sign-up deadline is Feb. 10. A $5 fee will be charged. The LSAT is scheduled for Feb. 23 at 8 a.m. and will be given in Harrington Classroom Center. The room will be de cided upon when the exact num ber taking the exam has been determined. The exam fee is $20 and the registration fee is $18. The LSAT is composed of five areas including principles d iuc idgment, AGGIELAND and cases, practical mathematics, logical analysis and writing ability, explained Dr. Hillary J. Jessup, acounselor in Academic Counseling Ser vices. However, after the LSAT is given this month, the area of mathematics will be withdrawn from the exam and the portion pertaining to writing ability will be increased to give a better de monstration of the students’ capabilities, Jessup said. An LSAT weekend review has been slated for Friday through Sunday in Austin. The 48-hour course was designed to increase understanding and E erformance, and will be taught y local attorneys and instruc tors, along with some University of Texas law students. The total cost for the review is $150.
