If a player buzzes before the question is read completely and answers incorrectly, his team loses points. Each correctly answered ques tion is worth 20 or 30 points, Wes terfield said. The average team score for a game is 200 points. A scorekeeper will post team scores as well as keep individual scores, she said. College Bowl questions are pre pared by the College Bowl Co. which organizes nationwide col lege tournaments, Westerfield said. Winning teams will advance to winners’ brackets to play other winning teams, Westerfield said. The losing teams will compete for a consolation title. This year’s winning team from Texas A&M will go to regional competition in Austin, Wester field said. The regional team will consist of the winning team and the four high-scoring players. “We hope to do a lot better in regionals this year,” she said. *«' Texas A&M has participated ■p College Bowl for the last years. That budget was passed by Student Government last spring. Cuts in student service fee allocations were partly respon sible for the revisions, Todd Norwood, vice president for fi nance, said.
