Two Texas A&M professors
have been named to 1981-82 Hal
liburton Chairs of Engineering.
They are Dr. Gerald Morri
son, associate professor of mecha
nical engineering, and Dr. Philip
Allen, associate professor of elec
trical engineering.
Dr. Robert H. Page, dean of
the engineering college, this week
accepted a check for $20,000 from
the Halliburton Education
Foundation. This is the 17th
annual grant awarded the Univer
sity’s College of Engineering by
the foundation. Presenting the
check were Edward J. Byrne,
B.E. Stallworth, David G. Turner
and Kenneth Rea of Brown & Root
Inc. of Houston, a Halliburton
subsidiary.
