Murray, son of avowed atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair who filed the suit, and Cecil Todd, director of the Revival Fires Ministries of Jopln, Mo., were told Monday by the tehool’s principal to leave volunarily or be removed by police. Todd said he was leading a drive to get voluntary prayer and Bible reading back into the classroom. “If we continue to allow the sup remacy of minority viewpoints, before long we will have students that belong to the Communist Party and who are against the teaching of free enterprise,” Todd said. “The Pledge of Allegiance will be forbidden.” He and Murray said the folders would help fulfill the personal and spiritual needs of the students.
