Johnson Library this week to get some ideas for his own presidential library. Carter and his wife will arrive Wednesday afternoon at the LBJ Ranch near Stonewall as guests of Mrs. Johnson. An aide to Mrs. Johnson said the Carters also want to “see what the U.S. Park Service has done” with the ranch. On Thursday, the Car ters will visit the LBJ Library and the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Harry Middleton, director of the library, said former presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford also have visited the LBJ Library with an eye toward such libraries of their presidencies.
