Adults Only $2.50 Children 14 & UNDER FREE WITH PARENT The catch that tied the record was a touchdown of 14 yards which put Dallas in front for the first time all day. The record setter came during the drive which clinched the victory. “I’m glad we got it out of the way, ” Pearson said. “There was a lot of pressure as I got closer to the record. Now I can concentrate on other things. “Danny White has done a good job taking over this football team. I’ve been fortunate to work with quarter backs like Roger Staubach for seven years and now have a guy like Danny to step in and take over. I’ve just been lucky to play with guys like those two.” White, when asked about his three-touchdown performance Sun day, was more anxious to talk about Pearson. “I was thrilled helping to contri bute to Drew’s record,” said White. “That’s a real special thing and I was real happy to play a little part in that. “On his record catch he was not the primary receiver. He was prob ably about the third man to go to in that situation. But he broke open. The ball actually slipped out of my hand, but he made a great catch.” Pearson’s record was one of three milestones reached in the game. Tony Dorsett, in gaining 122 yards, went over the 100-yard mark for the 17th time in his career. That equaled a club record first set by Calvin Hill. And St. Louis receiver Mel Gray caught a pass for the lOOt^lraight game. It was a 69-yard touchdown throw from Jim Hart. Sun Theatres 333 University 846-!
