Harrington, It’s free and sponsored by the Texas A&M Philosophy
Department, Southwestern Alternative Media Project and the
Texas Commission on the Arts.
ANTHROPOLOGY CLUB: Will meet at 8 p.m. in 301 Bolton.
YOUNG DEMOCRATS OF TEXAS A&M: Will meet at 7:30 p.m
in 127 Bolton.
“THE MAGIC FLUTE”: Ingmar Bergman’s adaptation of Mozart’s
opera follows a pair of star-crossed lovers and an impish little man
whose greatest desire is to find a wife. The feature will be shown
at 7:30 p.m. in Rudder Theater.
MSC POUTICAL FORUM: Ed Clark, Libertarian Party candidate
for president, will speak on “Big Government in Crisis” at 7:30
p.m. in Rudder Theater. Admission is free.
CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST: Will meet for a Leadership
Training Class at 7 p.m. in 207 Harrington.
MSC OUTDOOR RECREATION: Will have a caving seminar at
7:30 p.m. in 401 Rudder.
A&M NOON BIBLE STUDY: Will meet at 12:30 p.m. on the west
lawn of the Academic Building.
ABILENE HOMETOWN CLUB: Will meet at 8 p.m. in the lobby

PLACEMENT CENTER LECTURE: The lecture on “Dress for
Today's Career” will begin at 7:30 p.m. in 504 Rudder,
CATHOUC STUDENT ASSOCIATION: The coffeehouse commit-
tee will meet and a Bible study will begin at at 7:30 p.m,, both at
St. Mary’s Student Center. A night prayer service will be held at |
10 p.m. at St. Mary's Church.
CIRCLE K: Will meet at 7 p.m. in 302 Rudder.
“THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE”: A malevolent house launches
a foil scale attack against four innocent intruders. The feature wil
be shown at 8 p.m. in Rudder Theater.

The Air Force Association will
hold an organizational meeting at
the Ramada Inn at 7:30 p.m. Fri
day, to open a Bryan-College Sta
tion chapter.
Vic Kregal, national president of
the association, will address the
meeting.
The Academic Services office at
Texas A&M University has a num
ber of graduate scholarships availa
ble, including a new one for stu
dents of Scottish descent who will
seek graduate study in Scotland.
Connie Porter, academic services
counselor, said the new Saint An
drew’s Society Scholarships will be
awarded on the basis of the appli
cant’s record of academic achieve
ment, participation in extra
curricular activities, responsible
leadership, financial need and em
ployment, evidence of Scottish des
cent and a statement of personal
objectives.
Academic Services will handle
screening of applicants, who must
have a grade point ratio of 3.2 or
above, and select one student to
represent Texas A&M University.
Other graduate scholarships are
also available through the Adi
Services office for study in all
of the United States.
