Handicap problems viewed Taking the handicap out of disabil ity was the objective as administra tors and handicapped students met on Mobility Awareness Day. The administrators moved about the Memorial Student Center Mon day in wheelchairs to briefly experi ence some of the problems facing handicapped students. They then met with the students and others in a meeting sponsored by Students Concerned for the Handicapped. Gary Gray, on the organization’s officers, presented a slide show ab out the problems facing handicapped students at Texas A&M University. Some of the problems Gray men tioned were lack of curb cuts and poor quality of some existing curb cuts, problems with disabled parking zones, accessibility of certain build ings and accessibility to Kyle Field. Steve Currier, coordinator of Ser vices for Handicapped Students at the University of Texas, was the fea tured speaker.
