The Board of Directors of the En richment Fund voted Saturday to set $40,000 as the goal of the first-year fund, the purpose of which is to soli cit and handle contributions to MSC programs and committees. This year’s drive will end in Au gust of next year. The vote to set that figure for the goal — nine to eight — was close because some board members thought $40,000 was too low. “We (the MSC) need a minimum of $30,000 for travel, a minimum of $20,000 for speakers, and a mini mum of $20,000 for arts, ” said James Randolph, MSC student develop ment specialist, in arguing that $100,000 should be the goal. After the $40,000 goal was passed.
