However, it wasn’t difficult to see which activity attracted the most at tention at the party, given for the children of Texas A&M faculty members and married students. It was the haunted house — com plete with witches, Dracula, a mad scientist, and even a real skeleton (borrowed from the chordate lab here). The children, 10 and under, had mixed reactions about taking the “terrifying tour" through the spook ! house. Tweety Bird and Cookie I Monster, alias Betsy Lynd and Bar bie Benson, took the trip three times — with Mrs. Benson at their side each time. Tamara Gabbard, on the other hand, wasn’t quite as ex cited about the monster-filled, dark T don’t wanna go," si father, Carl Gabbard, an instn in the Health and Physical Ed lion department.
