A grave problem- witch event to attend con’t from page 1 in the Commons Dining Room, from 9:30-11:30 p.m. Residents must show their activity cards upon entrance. Aston will also have a Haunted House on Oct. 30, from 7-11 p.m. Each wing will have their own theme. An absolute must will be to see Dr. Rod O’Connor, chemistry professor, as a mad scientist. The resident hall is asking for a minimum donation of 25c, with pro ceeds benefitting UNICEF. On-campus students will want to go to dinner in costume on the 31st, as the RHAIIoween will be presenting prizes for Best Guy, Best Gal, Best Group and so on. The “Costume Dinners” will begin at 5 p.m. in Sbisa and 6 p.m. in the Commons. RHA is also hosting a Street Dance on Northgate Oct. 31 from 9-midnight. A sound system will be set up and more prizes for best cos tumes will be awarded. And of course, there is Trick-or- Treating on campus. Men in the women’s dorms will be from 7-8 p.m. And the women in the men’s dorms will be from 8-9 p.m. Off-campus, the scariest event of all, the Jaycees Haunted House, begins Friday night. This year, the fear-packed spectacle will be in the Culpepper Shopping Center next to Swenson’s Ice Cream. Beginning at 7 p.m., it will last until midnight Friday and Saturday nights (Oct. 26-27) and also Tuesday and Wednesday nights (Oct. 30-31). For those who want terror, the Jaycees have six different rooms of it. Jacye-ettes will be selling soft drinks to revive those who’ve lived through it. There are also some events and carnivals suitable for your kiddies. On Monday, Oct. 30, the MSC Hospitality Committee will have a Children’s Party from 6-8 p.m. in Room 228-231, MSC. Saturday, Oct. 27, will be the an nual Bonham Elementary School Carnival from 4:30-8:30 p.m. There will be a costume parade and contest in front of the school and the PTA will be serving supper in the school kitchen. Booths will include cake walks, bakery shop, ring toss, duck pond, country store and spook house. Tickets for the booths are 20c. Allen Academy will have their an nual carnival on Halloween Day, Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. in the gym. A parade for ghosts and goblins will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a spagetti supper at 6 p.m. Tickets are $1 for children and $2 for adults. The Calvert Parent-Teacher and Citizen Organization will hold its Hal loween Carnival on Oct. 31 at the Calvert Elementary School.
