Corbett, wearing green jail clo thing and black sneakers, appeared before Denver County Judge Robert Crew Jr. He spoke only one nearly inaudible word during the appearance. “OK,” Corbett said in a low voice to no one in particular after his at torney told him the hearing was ended. He was then returned to the Denver city jail where he is being held pending a decision on his parole. Corbett served 18 years in the Colorado State Penitentiary for the 1960 kidnap-murder of millionaire brewer Adolph Coors III. Corbett, who has maintained his innocence through the years, was released July 10 after three previous attempts at parole failed.
