LOS ANGELES — Actor Rod Steiger, the latest to becaughtupiii
“Marvin-type” lawsuit, testified that the cost of his first two ma
was so big he never would have married his third wife if she had&i
agreed to renounce all future financial claims if the marriage broker

Steiger, 54, said he never would have married Sherry Nelson,4J,i

They were married in 1973 and Mrs. Steiger is claiming hJlk

But they had lived together for three years before the marriage a
