Bruner of Fort Worth has been selected for a Nelle White and Charles Hen derson Seawall Memorial Fel lowship for graduate students in business administration at Texas A&M University. Bruner earned a B.B.A. in marketing in 1976 from Texas A&M, where he held an overall grade point ratio of 3.6 and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. The fellowship honors two Houston residents and was estab lished in 1971 by Belle Patterson Elam and Elizabeth Elam Roth, also of Houston. Bruner, now studying for a master’s degree in marketing, resides at 3008 San Marcos in Fort Worth. Deep ocean miner joins engineering John E. “Jack” Flipse, specialist in deep ocean mining, has joined Texas A&M Univer sity’s ocean engineering faculty as a visiting professor. Flipse will teach and conchict X^-esearch in the coastal, hydiaulic and ocean engineering group of the Civil Engineering Depart ment. He will also be involved with Dr. John B. Herbich in work of the Center for Dredging SlU F tpse and Herbich have cooperated in deep ocean mining activities.
