Have an apple” American Cancer Society United Press International MEXICO CITY — American prisoners to be repatriated this week under a new bilateral ex change treaty said Wednesday they are happy to be going home — even if it means spending additional time in a U. S. jail. “I feel really, really good,” Sherry Wood, 23, of Ann Arbor, Mich., told reporters. “I have more time to spend in jail up there, hut either way, the first door that opens out of jail, I have to go. I’m really happy because I want to see my family and my brothers and everybody." Wood, who has served one year and 9 months of a seven-year sen tence for cocaine smuggling, said she would probably have to spend an additional year in prison in the United States. Corky Foster, 33, of Park City, Utah, who is in the same situation, said, “I should do better in the U.S. But he acknowledged he would have less freedom of move ment in a U.S. jail. Foster has served 13 months of a nine-year sentence for importation of cocaine. He said he has been told his prospects are “bleak” for getting immediate parole. “But I’ll he able to see my family, I’ll be eating better food, 111 have medical attention. I think just the loneliness will probably lx* ended. “I think as far as the freedoms of walking around and being in a cell, it’ll be harder in the United States.
