On the av erage I see the A&M grading pro cedure as sound. Are professor evaluations effec tive? How? The professor evaluation is a sound idea, but at this time a com bination of factors has rendered it somewhat ineffective. Someilj individual questions asked ing in substance, and even answers can be obtained to questions many times, no conclusion can be drawn. Then tical nature of the report« lends itself to misinterpret^ hence a streamlining to anap] using percentages of the m polled is needed. The finalfo: evaluation should be easily real] understood by all students, logistics of the data assembly distribution should be systei and its responsibility given toi ignated committee. By doing more thorough canvassing ofp sors could be made and betta tribution of information to tbe dents assured.
