Hendricks dean of education, announced Prairie View A&M President A. I. Thomas. Hendricks, associate professor of education and director of teacher education, has been a member of the Prairie View A&M faculty since 1961. His appointment fills the post formerly held by Dr. William W. Clem who came to Prairie View A&M in 1970. Hendricks holds his B.A. from Texas College at Tyler, where he graduated in 1937. Hendricks’ M.Ed. and Ph.D. were awarded in 1949 and 1960 from the University of Colorado. In making the announcement, Thomas said that Hendricks would retain responsibilities as director of teacher education. The new dean is also a former principal in Beaumont public schools. (A. csV'A.
