Individual event participants with ratings of Superior were: Keith Barber for Impromptu Speaking and Sheri Turner in Poetry Interpreta tion and Persuasive Speaking. Other members of the team whose combined ratings helped capture the Sweepstakes Trophy include: Bob Lisauckis, Jesse Williams, David Houston and Chris Southworth. Slaughter said the club is open to all students interested in the debate meets, held locally and out of town. The various events include: Debate; Impromptu Speaking, Extem poraneous Speaking, Persuasive Speaking and Expository Speaking; Prose and Poetry Interpretation, | Dramatic: Interpretation and Duet Acting.
